John was born in Concordia, Kansas. His degree from Kansas State University is in Architecture and Design with a Minor in Art. Through the years, John has mainained a need to create art. First through painting and mixed media to low Bas relief sculpture. This led him to start working in three dimensional art, with clay being his current preferred medium. He also carves stone, what he believes an unforgiving medium that requires patience, experience and time.
